Spreading Sustainable Values and Promoting Gender Equality. At our company, we are deeply committed to sustainability and gender equality, which we showcased through two meaningful initiatives: the "Transform Unwanted Stuff to Forests" campaign and our participation in the special United Nations signing ceremony on the "Women's Empowerment Principles" (WEPs). These events are community-oriented and a testament to our mission to protect the environment, foster equality, and support sustainable development.

The "Transform Unwanted Stuff to Forests" Campaign – Transforming the Old Things into Green Value

The "Declutter for Trees" campaign encouraged employees to clear out, reuse, and donate unused or infrequently used items. With the motto “One tree planted, a forest grows,” we proudly donated over 200 kilograms of clothing, along with other items such as stuffed animals, handbags, shoes, and accessories. These items were handed over to the Gaia Organization for fundraising and subsequently transformed into trees to be planted in Xuan Lien Forest, Thanh Hoa Province, Vietnam.

The campaign was met with enthusiastic participation from staff, resulting in hundreds of items collected and contributing to increased trees—a small but meaningful step toward environmental conservation.

Goals of the Campaign:

• Reduce Waste: Promote the reuse of old items to ease the environmental burden of waste.
• Green the Community: Create additional green spaces, raising awareness about environmental protection.
• Spread Responsibility: Inspire collective action for a greener planet.

The "Women's Empowerment Principles" Signing Ceremony – Elevating Voices, Advancing Equality

The signing ceremony on the Women's Empowerment Principles aimed to raise awareness about women's rights, roles, and potential in modern society. Sakata Inx Vietnam Co,.Ltd signed to the Statement of Support for the Women’s Empowerment Principles as a commitment to support 7 Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) proposed by the United Nations:

1. Establish high-level corporate leadership for gender equality: Ensure women's participation in leadership roles.
2. Treat all women and men fairly at work, respect and support women, and eliminate gender discrimination: Foster a fair and inclusive workplace.
3. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all male and female workers: Maintain a safe working environment free from harassment or discrimination.
4. Promote education, training, and professional development for women: Invest in the growth of women's skills and knowledge.
5. Develop enterprise, supply chain, and marketing practices to empower women: Engage in community-focused initiatives to support women.
6. Promote gender equality through community initiatives and advocacy: Increase awareness and action on gender equality.
7. Measure and publicly report on progress to achieve gender equality: Track and report advancements in this critical area.

Commitment to Empowerment

In addition, representatives from Sakata Inx Vietnam Co., Ltd. participated in the seminar, engaging in discussions and sharing initiatives to promote gender equality with experts and social activists. Through this sharing session, we hope to gain valuable insights from leading companies in Vietnam on implementing gender equality in the workplace, in alignment with the seven Women's Empowerment Principles.
